Low Altitude, Affordable, High Resolution Imaging.
Photos taken from higher altitude require zooming to achieve the same object size in your prints. This means faster film and higher shutter speeds to reduce motion blur. This reduces overall quality. Long distance shooting, as from a full scale plane which must remain much higher, also introduces natural atmospheric haze that blurs your prints.
Maine Aerial Photography Service (MAPS) uses high resolution 10 and 12.1 mega-pixel Canon cameras. These are coupled to a flight-stabilized, radio controlled, aerial platform wtih a live video downlink giving us a state-of-the-art imaging system.
